THE WINDOW TO APPLY FOR THE 2018-2019 (K–8) SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW CLOSED


For those of you who have already applied, the lottery will take place during early April, 2018. Students who were selected will be called. An admission letter will follow containing instructions on how to register.


We have received many applications for admission. We are working on the middle school and kindergarten lotteries first and are striving to notify families regarding their admission status in the coming weeks. Please be advised, especially middle school parents, that if your son/daughter did not make the first round of the lottery, they may make the second round for those slots that parents decide not to accept, for whatever reason. Please be patient as we complete the enrollment.

If there are more applicants than available spots, then all new applicants will be entered into a computerized lottery system that will randomly select students and generate a wait list for each grade level. If a student is not selected for admission, wait lists are kept until the opening of the next lottery. If you applied and did not get in, you must reapply each new enrollment period. When openings do occur (in the summer and during the school year) we call the next number of the wait list and/or priority list. If a student is selected and his/her sibling is not, that sibling is placed on a priority wait list and will be placed if an opening occurs in the designated grade level.

Parents will have a deadline in which to come in and officially register their child in the school for the 2018-2019 school year, otherwise the spot becomes available to another family. Students who were not selected through the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. Parents can call the office in early May for their wait-list number.

As spaces become available throughout the summer and next school year, we will invite applicants on the waiting list to enroll. It is the responsibility of applicants to assure that the school has up to date contact information. Applicants that cannot be reached will be removed from the wait list. Once notified, applicants will have one business day to schedule an enrollment appointment. Applicants who fail to make the appointment or enroll will be removed from the waiting list. The seat will be offered to the next applicant on the waiting list. Students who withdraw from the school must re-apply through the lottery system. No preference will be granted for having attended the school in the past.

Registration Requirements when student has been selected:

  • Updated immunization records both the yellow and blue forms
  • Two forms of identification for the parent registering the child
  • Proof of age for the child i.e. birth certificate or passport

*Proof of residency can be any of the following: CURRENT water, electric, gas or mortgage/lease statement or a purchase agreement.
