OPEN HOUSE DATES
The open house assemblies will provide a wealth of information for those incoming K to 8th grade students and their families. At this time there is no information on PK-VPK it will be posted on our website once it becomes available.
Our school will have 2 OPEN HOUSE assemblies so parents can learn about our elementary and middle school academic programs.
Our first date is Thursday, January 31 at 6pm – 7pm
The main focus of this presentation is to learn about our awesome and unique middle school.
Parking will be available in our school lot since this event is after school hours. If the lot is full, parking on Glades Parkway will be allowed.
The second date is Tuesday, February 12 at 9am – 10am
The day time assembly will cover general information about our elementary and a shorter version of our elementary and middle school programs. This is for adults only due to the limited seating.
Parking will only be available on Glades Parkway – arrive early enough to park and walk to the front office so you can sign in.
If there are more applicants than available spots, then all new applicants will be entered into a computerized lottery system that will randomly select students and generate a wait list for each grade level. The wait list expires at the end of December. If you applied and did not get in, you must reapply each new enrollment lottery period.
When openings do occur (in the summer and during the school year) we’ll call the next number on the wait list and/or priority list. If a student is selected and his/her sibling is not, that sibling is placed on a priority wait list and will be placed if an opening occurs in the designated grade level.
As spaces become available throughout the summer and next school year, we will invite applicants on the waiting list to enroll. It is the responsibility of applicants to assure that the school has up to date contact information. Applicants that cannot be reached will be removed from the wait list. Once notified, applicants will have one business day to schedule an enrollment appointment. Applicants who fail to make the appointment or enroll will be removed from the waiting list. The seat will be offered to the next applicant on the waiting list. Students who withdraw from the school must re-apply through the lottery system. No preference will be granted for having attended the school in the past.
There is not an application for the Bi-Literate program. Once registered at our school, a separate lottery form will be provided. Due to high demand for the program, there is a separate lottery and Spanish/English assessments for admission.
